      A Technical Look at the Gewehr 88/05

      Very nice write up. I had one of the commercial made1888 hunting rifles with double set triggers in for evaluation. It was made before 1904. Chamber cast confirmed long throat. But Bore size was on the small size .304-.305. Do no .323 slugs for this on. Fine workmaship
