    Yea, I wasn't trying to dis you or anything of the sort. I was just commenting on the safe after looking at the link. It's pretty much like most safes around that size. They say it's an 18, 24, or whatever, and I just don't see how they hold that many, really.

    When they say they will hold 24 they mean 24 .22 caliber rifle with no scopes or other attachments

    That's why you should buy a safe that's twice as big as you think you need.
    At least half of the safe will be needed for ammo, mags, accessories, and all of the other stuff that you don't want the Wife Unit to see.

    I have and like the Barska biometric safe. A few hundred bucks, and it works by fingerprint recognition, and allows you to program multiple fingerprints.

    You are starting off right by doing research ! ??
    Two things to remember well actually three ! First of all Size does matter ! and what are you trying to protect your your guns from?? Fire or Theft ?
