I bought one of the Akelas just before they updated their site with new pictures (and new designs??), so I can't say anything about their current stuff. I will say the Akela, which is a fairly wide-bodied holster, is well-made (good kydex, good molding, and very nice dremeling of extraneous portions on the exterior) and boasts a better feature suite than many other holsters out there, but was a little wider in profile (using a paddle) than I liked for carrying every day. Customer service is great though, I accidentally ordered two holsters and emailed them right after, Harvey responded back to me literally five minutes later saying they'd refund me the cost of the second in the morning. That counts for a lot, I think. Mine even showed up at my door within a week, which I feel is pretty damn fast for a holster made to order.
I do like the look of their new universal holster and the kydex pancake is a bombproof standard design. With the pricing as competitive as they've got it, the options they offer, and the service they provide, I'd recommend them.
I have bought several holsters from them. I believe they are one of the most underrated holster manufacturers around. Actually just ordered another owb for my P320 yesterday. You won't be dissaponited.
I bought a KT Mech Gunfighter holster for my FNX-45 Tactical with TLR-1 and RMR. The holster is very high quality and has good retention. I would buy from them again...even though it took about a month to get my holster after I ordered it.
I bought a KT Mech holster for my father's S&W Shield. I was very impressed with the quality. I'm probably gonna order one for my G19/APL combo in the very near future.
