I saw this in a "Cheaper Than Dirt" email for $21 plus $6 shipping = $27

With the Stock grip on my new S/W 642 Airweight I can get only 2 two fingers on the grip, but with an ancillary grip like this one, I could get my pinky on the grip.

Can I get something like this in a local store for the same price?

Will a longer grip (so as to make room for the pinky finger) make a pocket carry more difficult?
I need to know b/c that is the primary purpose of my lightweight .38: to be a small pocket carry.
    I assume it would.
I know the difference in a small Glock 26 even though only slightly thicker in the handle from a Glock 43, it made a huge difference in my pocket getting the 26 out to shoot, over the 43, so I'm thinking the added heft added to the handle on my 642 would do the same thing.

So, you have drawn J frames with soft rubber stocks from the pocket and have no clinging issues? Why not just go with smooth wood stocks to avoid the problem?

Grip? The stocks fit or they do not. Why not Jack Ruby it if the dangling pinky bugs you? I shoot my J frames Jack Ruby and use Tyler Ts or Spegel.

    1. Only the rubber grips that come with the 642 stock.

    2. I ran across this:
    HOGUE Rubber GRIP 60000
fits S&W J Frame Round Butt Rubber Monogrip
Someone on one of my threads recommended this

When I read the reviews on some of these grips, there are complaints about it fitting properly sometimes so I am paralyzed on which to order: Packmayr or Hogue???

There seem to be 2-3 different Hogue grips:

HOGUE Rubber GRIP 6000fits S&W J Frame Round Butt Rubber Monogrip

Hogue Monogrip Grips S&W J-Frame Round Butt Nylon Black

Hogue Tamer Grip for Centennial Bodyguard

Note: there seems to be a choice for one labeled for the J frame and one for the 642 with subtle differences.
    Anyone have experience with these?
