Picked up this holster on fleabay, a Heiser 719 for a 7.5 Colt SAA. Noticed a mark on the back from B.H. Dyas & Co. who Heiser had made the holster for. A little internet work turned up that they were an exclusive department store from the early 1900s located on the corner of Hollywood and Vine. The building is still there although converted long ago to expensive apartments probably filled with movie people. Although somewhat worn like the Colt Bisley with it, this would have been one of Heiser's top of the line holsters from a company known for it's quality work. Like all of the old items I collect I often wonder who has owned them in the past.:)
