    It looks impressive on paper but you only get the 25,000 lumens for 3 minutes.
    Then it goes down to 6,400 lumens.
    And you probably need to wear a heat resistant glove at the end of the 3 minutes.

    To me that's a 6,400 lumens light.If I can't used the brightest mode for at least an hour it's not really usefull and they're just braging about a high brightness number.

    Another brand will come with a 50,000 lumens light (with a 1 minute runtime) and claim there light is the brightest ... until it catches fire.

    I suspect it's a case of Olight doing it because they can and the market continues to push for more, more, more lumens in a handheld light.

    In practical terms, it could be useful as a searchlight for people who can't carry a lot of extra heavy gear, such as search and rescue teams.
