    Scope recommendations

I just bought a Remington 783 in .300 win mag
    I'm looking for optic recommendations!!
What is a good scope that will not break the bank?
Mostly just deer hunting with the rifle but also I want to get into long range shooting eventually

For a nice rifle like that don't go cheap on the optics. I would look at Leupold, Nikon Monarch or Prostaff, or Vortex. Many other good options but these are very good optics at reasonable prices. I will say the Nikons are exceptionally crisp and clear for the money.

I'd go with the Leupold on the 300WM. That cartridge will punish anything or anyone when the bang switch is pulled. I run a Leupold VX-3 4x12 on mine. It's held up for a couple of decades now.
The Vortex comes highly recommended by many. Make sure you go to a strong enough optic.
