    Found a 100 year old Heiser holster for my Schofield. It was in really good condition and shows just enough of the Schofield's giraffe bone grips to be interesting.

    I think sporting goods companies back in that era would make you anything you wanted, probably for a price of course. When I look at my holsters from places like B. H. Dyas, I often wonder who would have ordered them. Like the guns in some of them there's probably a lot of stories.

    The easy age indicator on Heiser leather is the snap button. They quit using the one pictured in the 20s.
