I HAVE searched this, but didn't find much. Here are the questions. Hopefully answered by those that have used both.

The cost, for me, is only about a $35 difference. I am not adding a magnifier. Flip-up BUIS. (My LGS doesn't have either to compare.)

Height. Does the additional 7mm of the EXPS give a better sight picture?

Controls. Are the buttons on the side REALLY an advantage? It seems they would push you off target.

Shield. Is the shield around the top of the EXPS stronger, made better?

    TIA

Te height allows a “better” cowitness, “better” being subject to the person and their uses. Otherwise, they are basically the same, the side buttons allow adjustments with a magnifier. All in all it’s still and Eotech, and with that comes the Eotech baggage. I’m firmly in the Aimpoint camp, but am looking at the EXPS3-0 to mount on an AR pistol built as MK18, just because.

I chose the EXPS version because my Tavor has a flat top rail with built-in iron (popup) sights that co-witness properly.
In my case, yes, the 7mm helped a great deal.

For you it will depend on your cheek weld, stock, etc.
