Rifle is Steyr Pro Hunter .30-06
Proly go full rail on top.
Am thinking in keeping with the euro look, going 30mm tube.

    General big game rifle.

Silly maybe, but being a euro rifle, wanting a euro scope.
Burris has a 1.5-6X w illum, but that Philippine made.

Could go IOR or Meopta fixed 6X.

Vanguard has one, but dunno where that made or warranty.

Worst case go Leupold VX6 or whatever they're called.

Looked through a Steiner last yr.............super nice, for 1500.
Little too much for my wallet though.
    Trying to stay under 750.

    Doug,

I have spent quite a bit of time the last couple of days on your site :)
That Burris you posted elsewhere is tempting.

But if I'm gonna go pacific, am thinking newer WA Hawke 1-6 or the 2.5-10.
Meopta Artemis and the Steiner you just listed are on the radar as well.

That is a screamin deal on the old Endurance 1.5-6.
Just wanted the dot and not the cross.

Meopta Artmeis 3-9 w Z plex is tempting too.

Dunno if I NEED an illuminated dot, killed lots of stuff just fine w reg duplex.
Just thought that feature to keep w the Euro thing LOL

Maybe an older model Kahles before Swarovski made them into their tactical line? Or Leica maybe?

Zeiss really trimmed down their scope offerings too and probably make a couple that would be right on that gun

Zeiss is probably the best fit short of spending $1000+. Depending on how much you want to spend, either a Terra or used Conquest. Terras were built in Japan but are quality, Conquests are European manufactured but typically in the $600+ range if you can find a decent sale.

Here's a Terra 2-7X on GB for a decent price.
