    We're trying to figure out all the gear the jawas are wearing in the original star wars movie. We have all of the bandoliers identified but this holster is stumping us.
    Most of their stuff is British Boer War era and WW1.

    No real answer, but kinda reminds me of a WWII paratrooper carbine scabbard. Kinda cut down, but same idea.

    Almost seems like the design of what is apparently called (or was called) a "bucket scabbard."

    A number of the Jawas are wearing Martini-Henry or Lee-Metford bandoliers. Could this be an Enfield revolver holster?

    Yeah, with a couple straps around it to hold it on. I say close the file on it.

    (But then, I'm clearly not as into this as you guys.) ;) :)
