Any decent low powered scope in the say 1-4 or 1-6, 1-8, 2-7 max in my opinion if your hunting in the woods. I like the Leupold pig Plex type reticle or a German #4 typr etc.

I would second the 1-4 or 1-6. It's not like you're going to be taking shots beyond 200 yards. I think further than that distance and you're stretching the capability of the round.

Plus, when you're in the deep woods, it's nice to acquire at a low power and crank it up when you're ready to shoot without worrying about parallax or anything.

I would look at the Primary arms options in the 1-6 range for the money. I also noticed they were closing out a lot of the Trijicon 1-5s or so on Primary Arms web site I believe. These are a great deal right now in the 400s. About a $300 discount.

Leupold sells a Freedom scope w a .450 BM reticle....whatever the heck that is. Proly marks for longer yardages.

    Might get a RAR.....if so nothing larger than a vx3 2.5-8x

I would vote for a leupold 2-7...on 2 you can stalk and fast shoot. On 7 you can really place your shot.

The 1-8 is nice but you pay $$ for it. Your budget may dictate what you end up with.

I have the 2-7 on my .44mag and 22 and think it is perfect for those and should be perfect for a 450BM.
