M-lok or keymod for milspec handguard?

I want to mount a section of rail on my standard handguard, to mount a flashlight, and I'm wondering:

1)whether M-lok and/or keymod are compatible with standard handguards?

2)are there pros&cons pointing to one or the other? I guess this might be chevy vs ford

3)any install tips (maybe loktite?)?

You need a keymod or mlok rail to use this specific mounting rails. Can you post a picture of your handguard. I’m not really sure what you are asking.

There are pic rails that attach to standard delta ring type handguards. Seen em mounted 6 oclock

If you have a reg fsb, there are rails that bolt through it.

Midwest industries has one, single or three slot iirc.

Swap reg delta ring handguard to magpul and use mlock stuff.

Mlok has more options and seems to be more reliable. Keymod seems to be slowly going away.

I have a generic 7 slot 1913/picc rail that is made to mount on a standard hand guard as described in post #3. Had it for years and never used it. I will be glad to ship it to you if you want to keep the original hand guards. Ingo karma, no charge.
