    Hey guys. I have a brand new Surefire M6000DF with a Surefire tape switch. Shot with it once so far. Messing with it today, I noticed the light was very dim. I slightly loosened the head, and it's full power now. Tighten the head again, and it's dim. I threw out the box and manual a while ago, but I can't figure out if this is normal or not. Not seeing anything online saying these have a high and a low mode. Can anybody confirm if this is normal or not? Thanks!

    I can not confirm but, SF usually has real good customer service. Jump over to their website and shoot them an email or give them a call. They should take care of you.

    I would call SF. If you email them time will vary for a reply. Could be up to two weeks. Most likely they will want you to send it to them. If so, expect a 1 month wait until a new replacement arrives.
