So being relegated to a crossbow now I've started trying to perfect the "fit" of mine and came across God-A-Grip. I ordered a 5/8" thick version as I knew I needed a lot of elevation and I also ordered a front grip section and a 1/8" pad to possibly try on my coyote rifle. They came in today and I really like this stuff. It's tough, tacky, soft and supposedly one of the best shock absorbing materials available. The owner of the company wrote a note on my invoice providing his cell number and said to call him if I had any questions. I was curious about how to cut it down to size for my crossbow since it has a much smaller comb area than most rifles so I called him. Great guy, small operation and is making some great products. He uses a 3M adhesive that won't damage the finish of wood or synthetic stocks. He also told me he will custom make sizes for no additional cost and he makes them for my crossbow from time to time. I decided to use the 5/8" pad on my coyote rifle and the height is perfect. I ordered two more of the 5/8" versions for my crossbows. I did cut down the front grip as well as the 1/8" pad and put them on the crossbow, it feels much more comfortable and easier to hold up with one hand as well. Good stuff. https://godagrip.com/

Great share! I will be looking into this. Let us know how it pans out at end of season. I am a stickler for a tight cheek weld.
