PLEASE NOTE CHANGES IN JUL AND OCT

Here is the schedule for now. If you see anything you would like to change, just ask. ACT will try to accommodate.

Keep in mind that the range day in March and the low light class in December will NOT be changed for any reason.
ACT staff is available for private and small group sessions weekday evenings and some weekends.

17MAR – Range day and private sessions.
    21APR – Defensive Pistol 101
    19MAY – Defensive Rifle 101
    21JUL – One hand manipulations
    18AUG – Defensive Pistol 201
    15SEP – Defensive Rifle 201
20OCT – Shotgun fundamentals in the morning and shotgun drills in the afternoon
    1DEC – Defensive Pistol 205b – Low light

    Where are you located?
Most of their training is at Riley Conservation Club, just East of Terre Haute.
Having said that they do also travel or are able to
put on events at venues elsewhere. I believe they did an event at Hamilton County last year.
I'm someone more official will be along shortly to answer better than me.
There's "range day" coming up which would be a nice way to check it out and a great way to introduce people to ACT. Shooting, and formal shooting training.

I can't add much to this post. We are completely portable and can run a class anywhere it is safe to shoot. Feel free to email or pm me if you have any other questions.

How much ammo should I bring for the defensive pistol and carbine classes?

How much you shoot at any of our classes is ultimately up to you. Most get through the classes with 300 rds, give or take. Some have been as low as 250 and some manage to shoot 6 or 700 rds (NAD63!).

I recommend bringing 400 to 500 rounds. Much better to take some ammo home than to scramble for ammo to get through the day.

All that being said, ACT understands budgets and the cost of ammo. We try to make every round count in our classes.
