Wow!! Excellent ammo but a buck a pop. This ammo thing has got to stop! The worst part about it is that the rapidly increasing ammo prices are caused by ppl going nutz and buying up every round in sight!! If ppl would calm down and not go to every WalMart and buy 9 boxes of ammo the prices would come back down. The high prices are fueled by increased demand!!! Sorry for the rant man. I've been holding it in for to long.... Good ammo, not sure what it goes for now a days.... Sorry....

I found 500 rounds for $500, I know the round is good but $1 a round good?

    Surplus is running 450 @ $290 + s/h. 750 @ $449 + s/h.

I just wish I had $449! Maybe we could do a group buy for Btown....

I just bought some Remington for about $15.50 for 20 rounds at Rural King. Not the best price, but I'm picking up ammo a few boxes at a time.

I'd be interested in splitting some good quality Match 7.62 with somebody. I simply can't spend to much until I get a job. But if a couple guys want to split some I could pitch in. Just a thought...

well I went ahead and bought it. it's proper lake city 75gr. m118LR. 500 rounds should last me awhile, but I may be in for some more.

Cartridge, Caliber 7.62mm, NATO, Ball, Special, M118LR (United States): 175-grain 7.62x51mm NATO Hollow Point Boat Tail round specifically designed for long-range sniping. Produced at Lake City Army Ammunition Plant.

A buck a round is painful, but better than 5 bucks a round, or just flat unavailable at any price. That should be fairly recent GI ammo. At least it is good stuff for the money.

Thank goodness my 308 reloads are still around 50 cents. I won't say how many primers and bullets I stocked up on before things started getting nuts.

I can't get mine below .75 a round. Where do you get your stuff?

well if it's good enough for marine corps. snipers it's good enough for me, I'm sure it will be more accurate than I am.
