Recently I bought a Colt Police Positive revolver manufactured in 1921 in .32 caliber. Does anyone know what ammunition to buy for this gun? Do I buy s&w long in .32 caliber, or some other round? Do they still make a Colt .32 round for this gun? Thanks for your help.

if it is marked on it for 32 colt new police ctg. It might be marked like that.... that's colt's name for 32 S+W. The Colt new police and S+W cartridge have a bullet diameter of .335 or so, the old 32 colt and 32 long colt have .313-315 diameter.
It should be marked, but since it is a police positive it could be for either one.
if it is just marked 32 colt, it is probably for the old .313 diameter shell.
Go here for date yours was made as well....
