Just looking around the net and came accross the subject. Anyone have any thoughts on using something like MagSafe or Glazer for your EDC?

Most of those products do not offer adequate penetration to aid in stopping threats.

When LE agencies start issuing it as general duty ammo, then I'll consider it.

I saw a test report for either Glaser or Magsafe that showed increased penetration risk after passing through drywall.

The opposite of what is advertised.

Too lazy to google it right now.

Understand that I am not an early adopter. I'm fine with a wheel gun and semi-jacketed hollowpoints. Also understand I have never seen one used in a real world shooting.

I am not interested. I believe it to be a gimmick. Quality hollowpoints are cheaper and proven in real shootings.

I also like to bring up the facts that not even the Federal Air Marshals carry anything of this sort...
