I take it you are talking about .358" diameter Speer Hollow Base Wad Cutter PROJECTILES??

I do not recall ever seeing this bullet in a .357 load?

If you are looking for PROJECTILES, and can not find Speer, try Hornady--They make almost the same projectile..Bill.

they are hard to find right now, I have been jonesing for some hornady 148's all summer,

I may have to try bayou bullets

You can try cheaperthandirt. They are showing Hornady 158g LSWC and 140g cowboy action bullets in stock right now. Its not an exact match for what you are looking for but it might be close.

Ive loaded a few of these projectiles in 38 spl, never needed the 357 case to push them any harder than their max.

As far as Speer vs Hornady HBWC, I have loaded both of these brands, and functionally they are identical, though I tend to favor the Hornady for the cleaner finished product that I get from them. The only reason(s) I would go with Speer over hornady would be a noticeable price difference, and availability.
