more or less powder? Leading in the first ~1"

Hey, loaded up some Missouri Bullet 45acp 200gr.

I've got them over 4.7 gr of Bullseye, not sure on the velocity but no signs of pressure. Tried a dozen at 5.0 gr first and thought I'd back it off a touch, no signs of pressure there either though. After 50 rounds I've got a bit of lead in the first inch of the barrel.

Too little powder so I'm not getting a good seal or what? Or is this typical? This is my first adventure loading lead. Love the low cost!

Whats the handgun? (obviously a .45acp)

Not enough pressure to obturate the bullet. Bullet is not seating well enough to form a proper gas seal. Hot gases rushing by the bullet base is wht's leading your barrel.

Bump your charge back up.

In the first 1" is a indication that you need to speed it up. Leading at the muzzle indicates you need to slow it down.

....when i used bullseye i would run that bullet with 5.3gr with no leading with 1911's or wheel guns....
