Have a 8.5" CMMG Barrel for 300 BLK SBR (Yes I have stamps). I've been testing numerous reloads, & guess I've been lucky & had no keyhole issues to destroy my suppressor. Then read an article about that very issue, yes, paranoia has set in.

How many rounds do you folks test "suppressor free" before adding suppressor?

My Google fu has failed me on this issue.

Don't know. Personal feeling is first find a load the works and then use that with suppressor. The suppressor manufacturer may have recommended loads/bullets/etc.
Personally, I have not had any keyholing in 40 years. If you don't use undersized bullets in 9x19 or shoot through a worn-out barrel, you should not ever have an issue.
