Just thought I'd share that Traildust in Bloomington has 1 lb cans of Win 296 and IMR 4227 - great powders for 300 Blackout

    They had about 6x 1lb of W296, and 7 or 8x 1 lb of 4227
    both were around $27-28.

I think they get small shipments in pretty regularly and i like supporting their business, so I'm spreading the word (of course, i already bought what i needed... so NOW I'm spreading the word)
    ;)

    Happy hunting
and incoming rep always welcome if appropriate

Those powders are also excellent for full house loads out of .357 Magnum, .41 Magnum, .44 Magnum, .45 Colt (in Ruger Blackhawk and Contender, plus a few others, but not Colt SAA or S&W 25), and all of the .45 Magnums (Casull, Ruger, S&W, etc.).

I've been using IMR 4227 in max .45 Colt loads in my Taurus Thunderbolt rifle, very good performance, data from Lyman Reloading Handbook 44th Edition. This manual also has IMR 4227 loads for .44 Special, but I've only tried the cast 246gr and 250gr recipes, worked ok, but left some unburned powder kernals stuck in the cases.
