IMO you introduced snark into the interaction a bit prematurely. Her short response about the credit was actually pretty clear and answered two of the three questions. If you wanted the replacement issue clarified, you could have just asked.

I honestly don't think this interaction warranted a whole thread calling into question Freedom's customer service.

I had already asked for clarification of the replacement issue. You are correct about the last part. One day, maybe, I'll learn to think before I speak...post.
