Nearly a year after moving in to our first house, I've finally started my reloading bench! This will be a bit of a "work in progress" thread.

    Humble beginnings:

Looks terrible! There is hardly any room to work on those 2x4's!!! :lmfao:

Haha... only kidding, looks like a great start! Best of luck with your build.

Good luck with this project. This is my second Winter in my home and I still don't have the rough in yet for my reloading area. It will most likely be another year for me so you are doing good!

Build it twice as big as you think you will need if space is available.

It will be as large as space allows. This is just the corner portion of the "L". The left side will continue over that cabinet that can be seen on the far left.

Bench top will be 24" deep with the left leg of the "L" 8' and the right leg 5'.

Glueman's advice is so on the money.
It's good to see you building it the way you want it.
It'll be a great way to relax and focus the mind, during the build and afterward, rolling your own ammo.

This should be a decent upgrade.

Haha! I'll say! It is going to feel like a family of 5 moving from a studio apartment to the Biltmore House in Asheville, NC!!!
