Does anyone have any experience using Sierra's .308 220gr SMK's that are nickel plated/coated?

Why would you use them and could they be 'harder' than standard SMK's?

I would suspect they are not true nickel but an alloy to make them softer.

I would like to try some but looking for some insight/experience/don't use/etc.

    Thanks,

    B&G

Yes I use them in 300bo. They are pulls from military ammo. Several places online sell them. The coating is very thin on the outside and makes no real difference. I believe they are coated for corrosion resistance. I've not had any issues or complaints they preform great.
