I just bought a set of 380 dies for my Lee turret. Since I'm not using the factory crimp die, I thought it would make sense to just buy a 3 hole turret, avoiding the need to cycle the press past the empty hole(like I currently do for 40). When it showed up, to my disappointment, it wouldn't even fit the press, much less auto index. Am I better off to just use the 4 hole as I have been, or am I missing something?

3 and 4 hole turrets are different sizes.
I think you can buy a conversion kit, but I just use the 4-hole plate.
