    Good evening;

    Who's got a good selection of power and primers in the Indianapolis area. I've been too busy to reload for a while, and now I'm running low on a few things.

    The south side is preferred, but I'll drive a little.

    Thanks,
    D

    Bobcat Armament. He is only 15-20 minutes down 74 in Shelbyville. Well worth the drive.

    He is an INGO supporter and a damn nice guy. (and has the best prices, ESPECIALLY at the 1500) Go put some food on a hoosier's table, not profits in some big box store.

    And wicked customer service. I couldnt make it to the 1500 but REALLY needed some powder. He delayed his departure by 15 minutes to leave to setup for the 1500 so I could get there and get my products. Not every store will do that.

    Ditto to Atterbury. Bobcat Steel is another one. Probalby same distance from you as Atterbury.

    Sportsman? Something on 135 in Greenwood has some...but not a lot when I was in there. Also, expensive.

    I see this sort of statement a lot. Bobcat is a good company, and I buy from them.

    That being said, what do you think Powder Valley or Champion Shooter's Supply or Champion's Choice are? Walmart?

    They aren't local, but they ARE family owned and operated. They--and many like them--are also excellent humans deserving of your support despite not living in this state.

    Shipping and hazmat kill the deal most of the time.

    I've been buying S&B primers from Cabelas for the past 3 years, 50k total, average out about $15/k out of the door after coupons and discounted gift cards.

    100% correct. At least, it is for me.

    I hated to kinda derail the thread because I DO buy most powder and primers locally except for the couple 5 and 8lb powders I buy.

    But for bullets, casings, etc...frankly, I try to rotate it around. Most are so close in price due to shallow margins that I can do that and come out mostly even.

    Brownells 1¢ hazmat + free shipping today, for orders $150 and over.

    Code: MEB

    I don't see their prices are any better than locally.

    I would hit Bobcat if I was that way. It's Cabelas for me since they are the closest and can generally wait for a sale coupled with other deals.

    Good Afternoon;

    Thanks for all the info. I'll probably need to make a special trip to check out Bobcat Armament, but they definitely look like they are worth the trip. I'll probably hit up one of the closer places for some primers, just to get me by.

    Thanks again,
    D
