Reread the instructions that came with the dies. Lee dies usually have pretty complete and fairly explicit directions for replicating a factory crimp. Not sure about other brands.

No. The outer neck diameter is different. .330 vs .343 The Lee pistol Dies will seat and crimp with one die.. The Lee rifle die only seats. To crimp you need the appropriate factory crimp die. Also, Don't run uncrimped ammo in your tube fed gun. Bullet setback can occur.

And remember you are not crimping a hard recoiling .454 Casull, and you just need a slight crimp to prevent bullet setback in the feed tube.
