I found an ammo can almost full of Lake City M2 Ball with the little ribbon still around the bottom layer boxes. I'm not an ammo collector and wouldn't mind trading it for winchester white box or something like that to someone that value's the "Lake City" name or a collector.

I looked around the net and people are crazy, finding a real value for it is sketchy

What would be 20180305_203619.jpg a good trade if I wanted to trade

Going by the lot number, your ammo was made in 1966 and is non-corrosive. Not really collectable, but it's good shooting ammo for someone with a Garand. I would price it based on that.

1966 what a year, My birth year, so I know it's good

I insulted a guy one time by suggesting what you just said. I think that's what it is but he made a big deal about being Lake city collectible ammo, Of course this was his ammo not my ammo. LOL

I will shoot it and have fun but if some one was worshiping at the altar of Garand I wanted to let them make me an offer

    Could be anywhere
The CMP has M2 Ball for $1 a round, 120 rounds for $120 with an ammo can. Graffs has Sellier & Bellot Garand loads for $.80 a round with no ammo can and $7.95 flat rate shipping.

I "worship" at the m1 Garand alter and still wouldn't pay more than CMP prices for it.
