Anytime I use a double base ball powder I use magnum primers. This is because these powders have more deterrent coatings and a hotter and longer burning primer helps.

I have only used WSR with W296, vv110, a1680, and lil gun. I had never even thought about using a magnum primer, but now I am curious too.

I frequent the Outdoorsman and the last few times I've asked for small rifle primers, they've been out but have had Magnums. Considering finding a load I can use for plinking with them.

I am new to the group, but I have been using WSR primers with H110. Very good results. I have also tried CCI 450 magnums. I could not tell any difference.
