On a whim, I decided to stop by our sheriff's department range today to see if I might find a bit of brass.
Apparently, a department out of Illinois had used the range a week or so ago.
I ended up picking up over 2,500 pieces of once fired 5.56 brass, 300 pieces of .40 S&W, 250 pieces of 9mm, 150 pieces of .45 ACP and a bunch of odds and end in .45 Colt, .300 Blackout, .38 Special and 6.5 Grendel.
    ;)

It wasn't liking me too much. Lol
I stayed out through a decent rain too because I wasn't sure it was going to quit and I just couldn't walk away from all that brass.
Luckily I carry clean t-shirts in my truck during the Summer months.

Nice. I need to hit my range. It's been awhile.

Last time I brought back a bag full. I like to dump the garbage out into my 5 gal bucket. Sort out all the high dollar stuff for selling, aluminum goes in with cans, some gets reloaded, some scrapped.

Keeps me shooting for next to nothing.
