I have almost used up all my surplus powder and need to buy a few kegs of something.
I like ball powder for metering in the progressive press.
I have 1/2 moa AR type rifles that I shoot alot in both 223 and 308 so I try to use the same powder for both.

While not a ball powder, IMR 8208XBR (short grain stick) meters very well..I use in my service rifle loads.....and in my 22-250.......make a load that just plain hammers............buddy of mine turned me on to shooters world "tactical rifle" it is a ball powder, has the same burn rate at 8208XBR and is about $10 cheaper

CFE-223 from Hodgdon meters like water in my Dillon 550. It’s pretty flexible and have had no issues with accuracy with the powder.
