    Ive never done load development like this. This method basically relies solely on chrono reading. Ive always used the chrono as A tool, but Ive never used it as THE tool. I just finished up my 28 Nosler build, and I knew from the beginning, that barrel life was not going to be good. This will be a long range hunting rifle, not a long range target rifle. 1k rounds of barrel life is a lot of dead critters. This style of load development really lends its self to a caliber like the nosler more than something like a 308 due to the barrel life.

    I’ll politely disagree with their testing methods. I found this on accurate shooter.

    i think it’s very close but the way I understand it, two different methods. I could be wrong. I’m currently in the middle of developing a new load for Juggernaut 185’s 30 cal. I had to start with OCW because of capacity issues. Im using both methods.
