Sorry, I couldn't find any existing post on this question but what is the going price for spent casings? I have .308/7.62x51mm, .357 magnum, 5.56mm, .38 spl., 9mm, and .30-30 I have been saving with the hope to one day reload but decided against reloading. Just curious if this stuff is worth sorting and selling or just scrapping. They all have spent primers intact and need cleaned, so literally just picked up from the ground.

Do a little online research. You should be able to convert pounds of brass to how many cases per # by caliber. Scrapping you probably wont get much, probably make more money by selling the cases for reloading. Heck i might even be interested in the 308 cases if you could get a count and put a value to it

$1.35 per lb at my local metal buyer in town:D

Figure a 5gal bucket is easily worth a hundred bucks. I had a small bucket and got 30 something for it.

    .
30-30 should be easy to sell, there are a number of cases that can be made from it.
