started reloading my .223 with CFE223 powder. I am using CCI550 Small Rifle Primer and 55gr FMJ. c
Reloading with Dillon 550 if i try to load over 20 / 21 grains of powder it overflows the case. the books call for 24.7 to 26.7 grains CFE223.
I dont want to blow up my AR or myself. had no issues with my old powder WIN748 this press would throw 25gr of that with no issue. I know CFE223 is larger, but why do the manuals show 24+ grains per cartridge when it wont even allow 22 grains without overflow. have 4 lbs of this powder really want to be able to utilize it.
