resurrecting old thread -
I'm wanting to shoot 45 super out of a FNX 45 Tac, using a basic comp to help slow slide speed, this will be a backup woods gun (if in bear/cougar country). The choices are a 357 revolver, or this suped up 45.
So, anyone shooting 45 super?
I was also looking at 460 rowland conversion, but i'd rather go the 45 super route since the gun will mostly be used for 45 acp, and for 45 super only on rare occasions - like once a year
Does that FNX have a ramped barrel?
If so,get you some starline brass and load some up and try it.
Work up your loads,go slow and watch for pressure signs.
