I have called around to scrap yards looking for a source to buy lead to do some casting. The one place that carried it, doesn't sell it to the public. Does anyone know of a scrap yard that will see lead?
    Thanks

    .
Look for a smaller scrap yard, the big ones I've visited don't sell to the public for some reason.

Be careful with wheel weights a lot of the new ones are zink. One new one in a pot of lead will make it unuseable for bullet casting.

I'd put a WTB add right here in the INGO classifieds. There are a lot of INGOers with lead laying around.

The scrap yards likely don't want the liability of ambulance chasers from lead poisoning law suits. Between patrons and their own staff, it's likely not worth the risk for the income.
