    The supercavitating round might allow Navy SEALs to open fire before they break the surface.

    And never mind that over-penetration stuff...a .223 round went through over 17' of ballistic gel and a .50bmg will go through 2 cm of steel under 17 meters of water (read periscope depth).

    Never mind shooting through sandbags and body armor...this could change the job of infantry a bit. Cover? What's that.

    I has a Makarov. I'm allowed to demand obscure calibers that have no more inherent value than other calibers.

    (Plus, its kind of a running joke on gun boards that when something new comes out, there's always that guy who would be interested if it included a different caliber. This is kinda my homage to that guy.)
