I never understood the dislike for .40 I have owned a few and they rock.

40 turned ok for many but it had a rocky start. I played with it deep 3 different times. Accuracy was the first issue but the industry fixed that, then an extra caliber on the bench to deal with and finally I left PPoppers standing and had to load up to 45 energy to take him down so why bother. Just me though. Many of my buddies shoot the heck out of em.

Even if you don't stick with a caliber, it's not wasted resources if you LEARN something along the way. Also, time spent shooting isn't wasted either - shooting is fun!

Nothing wrong per se...I just do not like the feel of the "snap/muzzle flip" that everyone else complains about. That is probably because I grew up shooting 45 ACP.
Here's the kicker...I have a P229 carry in 40SW and I shoot it as well as I shoot my P220 Carry. But that does not make me like it any more.

The CZ's I had in 40 were snappy but I run full Monti 10mm 1911's so the snap was not a serious bother. One of them had a bit to it in regards to the trigger. Hard to describe. It was a bit irritating.
