I recently added a 12GA to my collection. I can't find 00 buckshot for HD anywhere around Indy.

    I've seen no waitlists.

Anybody have advice on a strategy of getting some beyond visiting all the different stores and online on different days hoping to get lucky? Many places will not even answer the phone. I've got other target ammo, I don't need much, just enough to keep loaded for emergencies. Not trying to hoard.

What other weapons do you have for defensive use? How much ammo do you need? I'm right around the corner from you. Happy to help with a free box or two if you are in need.

Old dog is right, at inside house ranges a shotgun's great advantage is sheer killing power not pellet spread.
