Hell the Russians still use the 9X18 in some applications. I would imagine say would say something simliar but we wouldn't understand it.

I'd venture to say that two rounds in the heart, and one round in the head from virtually ANY caliber would be sufficient. I feel like shot placement far outweighs the choice of caliber, in most shootings.

    Just sayin'

Some calibers just do it better.

Perhaps..... IF each different caliber impacts exactly the same place, with the same velocity, with the same trajectory. Otherwise, multiple variables make any comparison, guesswork.

I'm not getting involved in a caliber war. You shoot what you prefer, but without shot placement, caliber is irrelevant.

Now, y'all have at it...... I'll watch :patriot:

a 45 is only a substitute for a man who lacks confidence in being able to put the bullet where it needs to go

Does that mean that if I have confidence in my ability to place my shots where they belong, I can't shoot a .45?
