Bacon Sandwich

Because of my overall down feeling regarding the election today, I went ahead and made myself a world class bacon sandwich tonight. No tomato, no lettuce, just 12 strips of bacon, three pieces of toasted bread, and some light mayo (what can I say, I'm on a diet).

Initially the bacon concoction made me feel better. Each tangy and greasy bite helped soothe the pain as the Presidential numbers came in. It was a true bacon masterpiece.

Now as I write this, the post bacon-overload lethargy has hit. I can't seem to move and I feel like time has slowed down. Definitely coming down from my bacon high.

I think I'll make another...

Didn't even think about that. When I have my second sandwich tonight, I'll try out the mustard. Great suggestion.

Believe it or not, my 4-year old yelled at me for eating "his" bacon. He loves the stuff.

So, I had to ration myself while he was watching.
