    Hey guys...

Ive been playing guitar for a few years. I also had some vinyl turn tables, but I sold them to buy my acoustic guitar.

    Martin dcme acoustic electric guitar
Fender Strat mexican sunburst electric guitar
    Fender stage 100 amp
    ernie ball volume pedal
    boss dd7 delay pedal
    digitech metal master pedal
amp has an included pedal with distortion, more distortion, effects (flange, delay, chorus, and several others), and reverb (multiple settings such as room, hall, etc.)

    Recording gear:
    Pro tools mbox 2
    pro tools
garage band (usually use this as its easier, havent quite figured out the six gazillibillion settings protools has for each individual effect)
Lexicon omega interface (my first recording interface, I now have protools as stated above)
Adobe audition 3.0 (if I use a pc)
    AKG perception 200 condenser mic
    studio projects c3 condenser mic
    pop filter
    yamaha midi keyboard w/ stand

Here are some song demos I have recorded. I think my biggest challence in writing songs is getting past the first minute or two. Some of these are recent and IMHO pretty decent. Some of them just suck, but I figured id post them anyway.

btw, mediafire is a site I trust 100%. I absolutely swear on my life that these download links are my songs and you will not get any viruses (unless its from some other program or webpage you visit)... when you click on the link, give it a second, then press download and save it somewhere you will remember, like the desktop.

Enjoy and please feel free to give any constructive criticism you might have. (please be gentle!)

    Thank you!

My #1 favorite is dave matthews, if you cant tell. But I listen to and play everything. I love all music except auto tune rap and mainstream country.

What do you like? What kind of gear setup do you have?

I play guitar, as well as a bit of the accompanying instruments (bass, piano, drums, etc...)

    I play:
An '84 Gibson Les Paul Studio with emg's (81/85 set)
An epi les paul with a seymour duncan in the bridge
Ibanez sa series with an emg 81
A harmony h something or other
A custom built fender esquire style guitar
A hollowbody jaguar with reverse headstock (built this one from scratch)
    A washburn baby ml
    An alvarez acoustic
    Ibanez exotic wood acoustic
    Jasmine something or other acoustic
And some others. I forget. Lol

    I play through a:
    Marshall Mode Four head
    peavey Windsor head
    Peavey solid state pa head
    Crate Stereo 4x12 cab
    B52 4x12 cab
And a few assorted cheap combo amps.

Other gear that I can remember:
    Behringer 2 channel firewire interface
    A 6 channel mini mixer
    Virtualizer pro
Wireless guitar setup (don't remember the manufacturer)
    Dime crybaby wah
    Behringer studio condensor mic
    Various pedals and such

    I use garageband, too, mostly.

I used to play rock, but play acoustic/clean instrumental/folk kinda stuff now. Just got tired of the bs associated with playing shows.

I'll try and post some music when I get a chance.

Been playing guitar since I was 14, I'm 40 now. Played a Dean Z in the 80's, a Ovation elec accoustic in the 90's, a BC Rich warlock in the 2000's and now I'm sporting a Fender acoustic. Getting more and more into classic guitar..

Use to play guitar and clarinet. I've got an electric bass that I built from random parts, got an acoustic/electric bass a few years back as a b-day present, and I still have the guitar I bought from the guy that gave me lessons.

Got a steel drum that I've messed with a few times and some random pieces of a vintage drum kit that I picked up cheap(heads need replaced but the chrome hardware and bodies are good). Not really too into playing the drums but just as man cave-ish decor, they're pretty.

I did find out that the trumpet is not something I can play nor is the trombone. Tried sax a few times when I was playing clarinet in the school band and I liked it but quit playing for football. At times I think about picking up a cheap-ish used sax and a nice new mouthpiece and trying to teach myself.

Do you have an original '59? I'd be afraid to touch it.

man i wish. if i did, i wouldnt tell anyone about it. ;)

as for my gear, i've thinned the herd down to only a few Gibbies. I have a Boss ME-50, which I pretty much use only for the tuner, though occasionally i use the tubescreamer and wah pedal. That gets plugged straight into my Marshall. The older I've gotten, the less I have relied on effects and the more I use only the guitar's pots. I played guitar for over 10 years before I really figured out what the pots on a LP can do.

all you need is a Les Paul and an EL34 driven Marshall. mmmmm....tasty.

I play bass mainly, but also play guitar, drums, and cello. Classical trained on cello for 10 years and been playing bass & drums for 13 years. I'm constantly trading gear (benefits of working for the largest musical instrument retailer in the world), so my collection is ever changing. Here's the current list:

Schecter Model T 4 string bass
    Ibanez SR505 5 string bass
    Ibanez acoustic guitar
Squier Tele electric - current mod project
    Genz Benz GB750 bass head
    Gallien Krueger 2X12 bass cab
    Ibanez bass synth pedal
    Boss bass chorus
    Boss bass flanger
    Boss delay
    BBE sonic maximizer
    Akai Head Rush
    Electro Harmonix bass Big Muff
    Vox guitar practice amp

Just some of my toys. Still looking to pick up a mandolin & banjo. :D
