5 guys would be good if they didn't put the burger on the bun for a big mac, it takes something great and downgrades it. So far the best I've had that I didn't have to grill myself in IN is Portillos and Ruby Tuesday, but I've only been in the state a few months and am definitely taking notes from this list of places to go try.

Buckheads in Jeffersonville has a burger called the Denali double cheese burger, similar to a Frisches Big Boy, but better. Throw in an order of cheese boulders, and it's just amazing.:yesway: Five guys is great too, reminds me of how good Wendys was when Dave was still alive.

Its a national chain, but I'd vote for Five Guys.
We just got one here in Evansville several monthas ago. I will have to try it. If you like Pizza. Try "the slice" (Lincoln and Weinbach). 1.50 for a one topping. On the go, it's not too bad. Just a little hole in the wall.

I really like 5 guys burgers and fries. Both are good.

However, I wish they would cook to order. I prefer medium-rare to medium. They force "well-done". It's still good, but would be better if it was cook to order.

Also, they have free salted peanuts in the shell while you're waiting.

5 Guy's makes a good fast food burger, but Bub's in Carmel does a better job with a non-fast food burger. Plus they get it to the right level of doneness, as you ask for. Gotta love the elk burger.

5 guys has the best fast food burger around Ft Wayne, that is for sure. Their frys suck, but my wife likes them. Granted she is happy to find gluten free fries at a restaurant.

Ive had better burgers at other places, including my back yard :)
