Parke county hotels

Ok, the wife and I have decided to go look at covered bridges next weekend. Can anyone recommend hotels in the crawfordsville/terre haute/rockville area?

I grew up in Rockville...

The Parke Bridge Motel is owned by a friend's dad. The Billie Creek Inn is newer, but I've heard that it has gone down hill in recent years. Beyond that, there isn't much. Me, I'd stay at the Inn at Turkey Run State Park.

If you want Terre Haute, there is a Holiday Inn Express on St. Rd. 46/40 near hte I-70 exit. If you are not against TH, there is many, many, many choices.

Some of the bed and breakfast places are pretty cool in Rockville. We haven't stayed there but the old jail in Rockville is now a B&B.

Whenever I have anyone down for work from out of town I put them up in Billie Creek Inn. It's by far the nicest place in town.
