    Ouch.

A quick Google search says that it was hit by a train.

    Here's the flip side...

    VERY GRAPHIC!

That makes about the best sense I could think of.

Unless a ninja snuck up and cut its face off with a katana.

Did the train just completely miss its CNS? I know that thing couldn't have lived long, but I'm surprised it's still standing.

I'd imagine animals can experience shock same as us, seeing as we are animals too.

Yeah, the headless chicken came to mind straight off. I'm sure that cow feels pain at that point, but realize this: an animal can be missing everything forward of the eyes and still live, providing it is nourished and hydrated.

I'd say at that point you could pretty much just reach in and unplug the brain.

    oh, and:

I'd say he... stuck his nose where it... didn't belong.

I hope someone had the decency to put this animal out of it's misery.

If it was in fact in India, the most likely did not. As you probably know, they are sacred animals and are treated with reverence. If anything an episode like this may have only strengthened their respect for the god-like status of the cow.

I hate looking at this sick crap.
It's like seeing a car accident. You look and you just keep looking.
    That's nightmare material.
I think a Zombie likes his beef very rare.
