    More knowledge? Books are always a good gift in y opinion. If its for your dad give him a family picture in a nice frame. In all the SHTF movies the sole survivor always has a picture to remind them of the family they use to have.

    MREs! Good stuff for a prepper.
    Ifak( if i remember the name right) anyways its a medical kit full of supplies
    Knifes - who cant get enough of knives
    Visit a Surplus store near by may giive you some ideas. look for off the wall stuff

    The only good surplus store I've ever been in is in Bedford. All the ones in Indy either have a lousy selection, are horribly overpriced, or are full of "Made in China" lookalike junk.
