The loss of livestock could possible mean starvation to some people. We don't have it that bad here but people who raise livestock are a different breed (pun included) You take on the responsibility for the well being of the animals you raise, and most of us sacrifice a lot to care for them. I would say if my livestock was endangered that I would do the same as this bada** granny.
