I hear you. Bought a 2013 Toyota Tundra. (75% American content) And I was a GMC guy.
The .gov antics were a major factor in the change.

My buddy has a Denalli tuned by them. It is reported to have 550 horsepower. All I know is it's a crazy fast grocery getter.

I am a bit biased toward diesel trucks, but I would just buy a 2500 with the duramax and put a tuner on it and go. Faster, more reliable and probably pull down twice the fuel economy.

Yes Sir, You're right about that !!! I have a 2008 F-250 6.4 diesel truck with the H & S XRT PRO tuner & it's scary fast

I love my Duramax.. If you get one look into EFI Live. I have a lot of work done to mine, and depending on what position my dsp switch is on... I have crazy power, or decent fuel economy.
